Professional Overview

Community Organizer, Service Outreach Director, General Manager and Sole Proprietor are some of the titles I have held over the past 40 years in the work force. My strengths are with community building, the arts and organizational development.

2006 to the present

Guitars of Pikesville

My last 12 years have been dedicated to building a folk music community in Pikesville Maryland. I teach guitar, repair instruments, organize events and I ran a small retail shop handling all aspects of inventory, merchandising, sales, bookkeeping and scheduling while providing music and spiritual activities for Senior Centers, Nursing Homes, After School Programs, Youth Programs, Synagogues and other community organizations.

1987-2006

Community Care / The Health Network / Care Connection

Community Care - General Manager : (managed scheduling, payroll, hiring and marketing)

A Nursing Assistant registry that integrated social services with in-home care.
 

The Health Network - Specialized Computer Support :

(Computer certifications: MCSE, MCSA Windows 2000, A+, Network+, CTT)
 

Care Connection - Service Outreach Coordinator for psychiatric rehabilitation programs.

Music Director - Day Program.

I reported to the owner/director in these positions.

1984-1987

Worked in computer support at Westinghouse developing one of the first help desk centers,

and at a consulting firm called Comp-u-Staff where I was an in-house computer support liaison for branch offices.
